BankID wins European Identity Award

The Swedish company Finansiell ID-Teknik BID AB (BankID) has won the European Identity Award for the best IAM (Identity and Access Management) / GRC (Governance, Risk Management, Compliance) service within the Business to Business segment in Europe.

The price was awarded on the 6th of May during the European Identity Conference in Munich and the justification was: "BankID - A working approach to support electronic IDs to employees, partners and customers - well established and proven". - In Sweden most people have a basic knowledge of BankID and electronic identities. It is used daily by 1.5 million people for digital identification as well as signature in banks, authorities and companies.
