CertEurope obtains the « Qualified Certification » as Trust Provider

The new Certification Authority "CertEurope Qualified" issues qualified electronic certificates: Bailiffs are the primary users.

CertEurope 1st « e-trust provider » in France, received April 1st 2009, the certificate of conformity of LSTI, certification organisation accredited by the French Accreditation Committee (COFRAC). The ordinance of 10 August 2005 allows bailiffs to sign electronically and archive their deeds in a central secured storage platform: 10 million documents per year - the requirement being the use of a qualified electronic certificate. CertEurope becomes the first and only Certification Operator in France to issue “qualified certificates” for the public and departmental officers, professionals and businesses. CertEurope is using Nexus PKI technologies, since 5 years as the core technical architecture for its critical activities: Nexus Certificate Manager is the technology layout used and which has allowed CertEurope to get this highest level of certification for Trust Providers.
