Nexus and Svenska Handelsbanken cooperate about the next generation products for digital ID's Nexus and Svenska Handelsbanken have signed an agreement considering the development of the next generation products for electronic identification and for electronic signatures - Personal Next Generation. Nexus product for electronic identification and signatures, SmartTrust Personal, is the market- leading product, with more than one and a half million users. The reason for this success is a broad support for different types of smartcards and maybe above all, reliability. Svenska Handelsbanken have licensed and supplied SmartTrust Personal for their Internet customers. Now Nexus and Svenska Handelsbanken take the SmartTrust Personal one step further for increased functionality and accessibility for the user. Nexus assignment consists of the following improvements: - Reduce the size of installation file. - Simplify the installation procedure, especially for untrained customers. - Create functions for automatic upgrading of the product - The portability to Mac OS is to be simplified - Better handling of soft certificates. - Support for the Citrix MetaFrame "Svenska Handelsbankens' Internet services are much appreciated.
