Nexus and WM-data starts cooperation within electronic identities and signatures Nexus and WM-data have initiated a cooperation within electronic identities and signatures. The cooperation means that WM-data will have access to Nexus' products and specialised competence for the solutions and services WM-data offers the growing market of secure systems, especially within the public sector and Bank, Finance & Insurance, where WM-data has a strong market position. The use of electronic identities and signatures are partly driven by new legislations. An electronic signature is now legally binding. The governmental demands on operational 24 hour authorities and access to digital services assumes the use of some kind of electronic identification and signature. Today, a number of electronic certificate issuer are present, for example Finansiell ID-teknik (BankID), Telia and Nordea. This agreement mean that WM-data and Nexus cooperates on WM-data's offer to among others Public Sector and Bank & Finance, where WM-data has a broad customer base and a strong market position in the Nordic area. Nexus is one of Europe's leading suppliers of products for electronic identification and signatures and is a supplier to all current certificate issuers in Sweden.
