Nexus increases focus on the European PKI-market As of the 31st of March, Nexus operation in the UK is sold to the present country manager Stuart Knox. Stuart will continue Nexus' business within the Secured Messaging segment as a distributor for Nexus Memo and Neon products. Nexus is focusing strongly on the European market for digital identities and signing, based on PKI technology. Nexus has already today a leading position in several European markets. Nexus will concentrate resources directly and thru partners, to increase impact on the market and reinforce customer support, wherever there is a strong demand for Nexus products and knowledge. The Secured Messaging and Memo business will continue as is, but now with a distributor channel in the UK, rather than a direct sale strategy. All current customer agreements and contracts will be overtaken by Stuart Knox's operation; Nexus Secured Communication Ltd. This transaction will secure the long-term maintenance and support agreements with customers in the UK. Nexus will continue to receive royalties at the same level as before. Nexus also lowers the operational costs and in addition, makes a capital gain of SEK 1.5 million, which will be accounted for during the first quarter 2004.
