Nexus Introduces the Next Generation PKI Client - Nexus Personal 4
The former iD2 and SmartTrust client “Personal” with its extensive smart card support and digital signature capabilities become, one of the most widely used PKI clients for online applications in Europe. Now Nexus introduces the next generation client, Nexus Personal 4.
The development of Nexus Personal 4 has been driven from market requirements for a small, simple and easily downloadable client software. With more than half a million Personal users, the leading banks in the Nordic region have been a major input in the development process. The Swedish-based Handelsbanken will be one of the first customers to deploy the new client for their Internet-banking customers. The online requirements are provided for in Nexus Personal 4 - Online Edition through a simple and web-oriented client. In addition, a corporate client will be released, Nexus Personal 4 - Enterprise Edition. Enterprise Edition is interoperable with 3rd party applications, has rich cryptographic API support for application developers and is compliant with signature legislation directives.
