Nexus Technology GmbH have signed an agreement for major enhancement on the secured communication infrastructure at Swiss Railways (SBB) Nexus Secured Communications, a business unit within Technology Nexus AB, and its operation in Germany, recently confirmed an order from leading European outsourcing company T-Systems (German Telecom). This order is for delivery of secured messaging infrastructure, to SBB. The total order value is close to 10 Mkr SEK including maintenance and support. This is also the start of a strategic collaboration in secured messaging solutions with T-Systems. The most critical aspect for Swiss railways was probably in the area of resource consumption and response time. As a result of exhaustive studies, Nexus and T-Systems jointly designed and delivered a well performing system. This messaging infrastructure will be enhanced in Q1 and Q2 2002 by providing control over attachments, protection against spamming, virus control, outstanding availability and reliability.
