Peter Gille new CEO of Technology Nexus AB

The Board of Directors has appointed Peter Gille as new CEO and president of Technology Nexus AB. He is starting as of September 1, 2006. Peter Gille has 20 years of experience in the IT-industry both from products and consulting operations, latest at Oracle Svenska AB where he has been Sales director and head of the Swedish consultancy operations with about 150 employees.

Nexus CEO, Christina Detlefsen, and the Board of Directors have agreed that it is time for a change in leadership. ”During the last eighteen months, Christina successfully accomplished a restructuring of the company and managed the work to form Nexus new strategy”, says Chairman Peter Markborn. Furthermore both the product- and consulting offerings have been broadened and new international sales channels have been established via new partnerships. Christina will leave her position at the latest September but will stay in the company for the transition period. Thereafter Christina will focus her time on other board assignments. ”Nexus is now structured for the future and need both growth and profitability. The general interest for information security in connection to the increasing usage of Internet has created a focus on Nexus products and services. Nexus has a need to further strengthen its consultancy operations to be able to meet customer demand. I’m happy that Peter Gille, with his experiences of both software products and services, now will contribute to continue to develop the company’s leading position within e-Security”, says Peter Markborn. ”I look forward to an exiting challenge where I will be able to use my experience from an international software and service company to lead and develop Nexus to growth and profitability”, says Peter Gille. Peter has an academic degree from the University of Uppsala in System engineering and finance administration and an Executive MBA from University of Paris and Edinburgh.
