Technology Nexus AB (publ) and Adtranz Signal sign agreement for intention of continued supplies. Technology Nexus, hereafter referred to as Nexus, and Adtranz Signal have signed an agreement for the intention of entering into long-term supply and management commitments primarily for hardware for Adtranz Signal's ILC951 signal box computer. The agreement is expected to run until January 2004. The agreement, estimated to have a value of approx. SEK 35 million, includes: -production, logistics and supply -technical support and maintenance -cooperation in product development. The agreement of intention has been signed to facilitate an immediate start for Nexus' commitments. "The long-term aim of the agreement is to focus on the end customer, increase total quality and reduce the total period of the cycle throughout the entire delivery chain to the mutual benefit of all parties. Our common aims are to achieve satisfied end customers, eliminate faults, deliver everything on time, minimise lead times and be cost-effective, as well as improving service and flexibility," says Ola Kjellstrand, Division Manager, Nexus Product Sourcing. "The aim of this agreement is to ensure the supply of products for signal box computers, guaranteeing quality at competitive prices.
