Themed and festive cruises spice up river cruising’s shoulder season
Rostock, 03 October 2024 – Spending the colder seasons aboard the A-ROSA fleet promises unique entertainment highlights, such as diverse themed sailings and cosy Xmas markets cruises. Tempting last-minute offers of up to 30 per cent savings on 2024 departures are still available until the end of October.
In autumn, A-ROSA guests can enjoy Special and Event Cruises featuring shows, workshops, and talks from expert hosts on select 5-night departures along the Danube and Rhine – all included in the cruise price.
For example, on top of exploring beautiful Vienna, Linz and Bratislava there is the chance to enjoy authentic live music aboard A-ROSA DONNA’s “Music” cruise departing 31 October 2024. The talented duo “KINGTWIINS” will host intimate and cosy on-board concerts, where guests will have the chance to chat with the artists, enjoying their great voices and touching stories. Under the motto “Jazz & Swing” on the Southern Rhine, “The Mood Messengers” will perform starting 3 November 2024 aboard A-ROSA AQUA. This group of professional jazz musicians will delight the audience with a wide-ranging repertoire of jazz ballads, bossa nova, swing, and captivating interpretations of well-known pop hits.
Other upcoming Special and Event Cruise topics include two early November departures onboard A-ROSA FLORA focusing on “Photography”, a “Meditation & Mindfulness” cruise setting sail on 7 November aboard A-ROSA SENA or a Danube cruise on “Yoga & Nutrition” departing 9 November with A-ROSA FLORA.
Following the themed cruises spanning most of November, the A-ROSA ships will set off to their popular Christmas Markets departures. Here, those in the festive spirit have the opportunity to experience the truly original Christmas atmosphere in the most festive European cities on the Rhine and Danube.
The A-ROSA ships sail their Xmas Markets itineraries, 4- to 5-night roundtrips, from Engelhartszell (Passau) on the Danube or from Rhine metropolis Cologne. Whereas Danube ships A-ROSA DONNA and A-ROSA FLORA visit Vienna, Bratislava and Linz, A-ROSA AQUA and A-ROSA SILVA make halt in towns along the Rhine such as Mainz, Koblenz and Rüdesheim. Guests wanting to travel in December but looking for more of a big city break can hop on-board A-ROSA SENA and have a look around Dutch metropolises Rotterdam, Amsterdam and Utrecht.
