Volvo Cars rapporteert verkoopcijfers voor augustus
Volvo Cars rapporteerde in augustus een wereldwijde verkoop van 48.029 auto's, een daling van 9% ten opzichte van dezelfde periode vorig jaar.
De verkoop van elektrische modellen, volledig elektrische en plug-in hybride modellen, was goed voor 43% van alle auto's die in augustus werden verkocht en daalde met 17% ten opzichte van dezelfde periode vorig jaar. Het aandeel volledig elektrische auto's bedroeg 20% van alle verkochte auto’s in die maand, terwijl het aandeel plug-in hybride modellen 23% bedroeg.
In augustus was de XC60 het bestverkochte model met een verkoop van 17.366 auto's (2024: 14.723), gevolgd door de XC40/EX40, met een totale verkoop van 9.404 auto's (2024: 10.668) en de XC90 met 7.246 auto's (2024: 7.292).

For the full year 2024, Volvo Car Group recorded a record-breaking core operating profit of SEK 27 billion. Revenue in 2024 amounted to an all-time high of SEK 400.2 billion, while global sales reached a record 763,389 cars.
