MARS 2004: Cap Gemini Ernst & Young Sverige AB (CGE&Y) og det svenske energiselskapet Sydkraft har undertegnet en avtale til en verdi av nesten fem millioner euro. Selskapene har siden 2000 samarbeidet i mer enn 30 prosjekter knyttet til utvikling og implementering av en industritilpasset SAP-løsning for energisektoren. Se for øvrig engelsk pressemelding. ======================================================================== CGE&Y in new agreement with Swedish energy group, Sydkraft, to regarding SAP services Cap Gemini Ernst & Young Sverige AB (CGE&Y) and Sydkraft, the Swedish energy group, have recently signed a new general agreement with an order value of close to 5 million euros. CGE&Y has been involved in more than 30 projects at Sydkraft - part of the E.ON group - since 2000, relating primarily to the development and implementation of an industry specific SAP solution for the energy sector. This new agreement not only covers the further development and roll-out of the energy specific SAP solution, but also includes program and project management services. We are proud to continue to be entrusted with the roll-out and further development of the energy specific SAP solution for Sydkraft. As one of the first energy companies, Sydkraft has been quick to implement a system designed for the deregulated electricity market. Sydkraft has also invested greatly to further develop the system with specific adaptations for the Swedish market. This means that they are in pole position ahead of their subsequent market performance. "CGE&Y is one of many excellent suppliers that Sydkraft uses within the SAP program. We have worked together for a long time and are now beginning to know each other well. We also share a common interest to encourage more Swedish energy companies to start using SAP's industry solution in the future", confirms Johan Engvall, Business Systems Manager at Sydkraft. With this agreement, CGE&Y consolidates its already strong position as a supplier of SAP to the energy market.
