UGC Selects Key Partners for Accelerated Digital Rollout in The Netherlands

Denver, Colorado - June 1, 2005: UnitedGlobalCom, Inc. ("UGC") (Nasdaq: UCOMA) today announced a number of key vendors as leading technology partners for its plans for an accelerated rollout of digital television to UPC Broadband's analog cable subscribers in the Netherlands. These partners include, among others: Thomson, Pace, Scientific-Atlanta, Philips, Kudelski (Nagravision), and OpenTV.
