ERROR: PRESS RELEASE, FIRST QUARTER RESULTS, HAFSLUND NYCOMED

Hafslund Nycomed (NYSE: HN) would like to draw your attention to an error in the press release issued today, May 6, 1996.

In the table listing revenues and operating profit, Nycomed Imaging?s operating profit in the first quarter 1996 should read: NOK 553 million (and not 533 million). The figure is correct in the complete text of the First Quarter Report 1996.
