09 - mars 2015 - Kingston Technology Europe Co LLP, et datterselskap av Kingston Technology Company Inc., verdens ledende uavhengige produsent av minnemoduler, kunngjorde i dag sin kommende 4GB og 8GB ValueRAM® 2133MHz DDR4 ECC SO-DIMM-moduler har fått Intel sitt stempel som godkjent. Minnemodulene er godkjent til bruk på den kommende Intel® Xeon® D-1500 prosessor serie (tidligere Broadwell-DE). En kobling til valideringsiden finner du her.
Xeon D-1500 SoC (System on Chip) prosessor serien er utviklet for microservers, nettverk og lagringssystemer. Kingstons DDR4 ECC SO-DIMM-moduler tilbyr lav effekt og høy ytelse som trengs for å støtte høy-tetthets systemer. Bedrifter søker kraftige, men likevel mer energi- og arealeffektive løsninger som tjener datasentere. Den-snart-lanserte DDR4 ECC SO-DIMM modulen vil slutte seg til tidligere Kingston DDR3 ECC SO-DIMM som ble lansert i midten av 2013 for x86 og ARM-baserte prosessorer og SoC design.
