LARGE ORDER IN HAND – SIMTRONICS TO DELIVER GAS DETECTION AND ENGINEERING SERVICES IN FRANCE

Simtronics ASA has today received a gas detection and engineering order from Cegelec for the EDF (Electricité de France) nuclear power plants in France. The project concerns the detection of hydrogen in the turbo-alternator of each Nuclear Unit, 58 in total. The value of the contract is in excess of NOK 14.5 million. The deliveries will be executed over the next 5 years. Service and maintenance activities may also follow this contract. Simtronics has supplied gas detection solutions to EDF facilities for a number of years, this contract builds on the one placed in June 2007. That contract required the hydrogen detection in Reactor and Auxiliary Nuclear buildings of each Nuclear Unit.
