TietoEnator acquires Enterprise Systems Copenhagen A/S

TIETOENATOR CORPORATION PRESS RELEASE 24 OCTOBER 2002 2.00 PM 1(1) TietoEnator acquires Enterprise Systems Copenhagen A/S TietoEnator and Enterprise Systems Copenhagen A/S have signed an agreement concerning the acquisition of the Danish consultancy company. TietoEnator takes over the 18 employees of Enterprise Systems Copenhagen, a solid customer portfolio, especially in the health care sector, and the product KMS (Clinical Measurement System), a framework for registration of clinical quality. The purchase price is 1,4 MEUR. TietoEnator is today the leading provider of IT healthcare solutions in the Nordic countries. The acquisition of Enterprise Systems Copenhagen A/S supports the Group's growth strategy and will strengthen its position in the Danish market. TietoEnator will now have 375 employees in Denmark, of whom 25 work within the area of healthcare IT. The future work will focus on getting the full synergies from TietoEnator's size and Nordic product portfolio, especially within the field of electronic patient records, and Enterprise Systems Copenhagen position in the Danish market. Further the continued success of KMS in the Danish market shall be secured, and the opportunities for the product leveraged into the other Nordic markets.
