Nordax is a specialistbank in Northern Europe, providing unsecured consumer loans, mortgages and deposits to 190 000 customers in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Germany. Nordax employs approximately 230 people, all working in one office in Stockholm. Nordax is owned by Nordic Capital Fund VIII and Sampo. Since January 2018 Svensk Hypotekspension (SHP), specialists in equity-release mortgages, is a fully-owned susbidiary to Nordax Bank.

At today's extraordinary general meeting in Nordax Group AB (publ), a new Board was elected. As of this date, the Board consists of the following members (all new members)Hans-Ole Jochumsen (Chairman): Hans-Ole is Senior Advisor in the company Alkymi.io, a New York-based FinTech start-up and a board member in Nykredit A/S. Hans-Ole Jochumsen has previously held a number of senior positions and been a board member within Nasdaq and other regulated marketplaces (including Stockholm, New York and Copenhagen).
