Interim Report 3, January-September 2001 (Gothenburg, 23 October 2001) The Nobel Biocare GroupSales increased by 30% to SEK 1 909.1 million (1 474.7). Sales in the third quarter amounted to SEK 599.5 (475.6) million. · Dental Implant sales increased by 29% to SEK 1 673.3 million (1 293.5). Sales in the third quarter amounted to SEK 526.5 million(417.5). · Procera® sales increased by 30% to SEK 235.8 million (181.2). Sales in the third quarter amounted to SEK 73.4 million (58.0). Operating income amounted to SEK 273.1 million (143.6 before non- recurring items 2000). Operating income excluding goodwill amortization was SEK 320.7 million (187.4 before non-recurring items 2002). The currency effects were positive, SEK 18 million. Operating income in the third quarter amounted to SEK 61.7 million (37.5). Earnings per share amounted to SEK 6.14 (3.07).
