Profitability targets for Nobel Biocare announced At today's analyst meeting in Stockholm, Heliane Canepa, President of Nobel Biocare, announced targets for Nobel Biocare for 2002. The plan includes the following priorities: Profitability Increasing the EBITA-margin for Dental Implants from 19% (YTD 2001) to above 24% for FY 2002. The plan for 2002 contains a gross profit improvement through the carry-over effect of the current complexity reduction program and further efficiency gains in purchasing, manufacturing and logistics. In addition, operating expenses will be cut by setting cost limits for all operations. Growth Prepare a new integrated global market approach to drive long-term sales growth of >20%. This includes a new, unique product offer for ultimate ease of use and advanced esthetics exploiting Nobel Biocare's expertise in high-end restorative dentistry.
