Proposal for a new Board of Directors at Nobel Biocare The two former main shareholders in Nobel Biocare, Bure Equity AB and the 1818 Fund II (Brown Brothers Harriman & Co), which previously represented a combined total of approximately 30 percent of the capital and votes, divested their shares in Nobel Biocare during the fall of 2000. In view of this, the following members on the present board of directors are not available for re-election: Roger Holtback Håkan Larsson T. Michael Long Kenneth A. Darienzo Nobel Biocare's Chairman, Roger Holtback, has discussed the composition of the new board of directors with the new main owners. BB Medtech AG, Switzerland, which is listed on the Zurich and German stock exchange and holds 11.2 percent of Nobel Biocare's total shares, proposes the following board of directors to the Annual General Meeting on April 20, 2001: Jack Forsgren (re-election) Jan Kvarnström (re-election) Jan Ekberg (re-election) Dr. med. Ernst Thomke (re-election) Heliane Canepa (re-election) Ernst Zaengerle (proposed) The Annual General Meeting will take place Friday April 20, 2001 at 5 p.m. at Hotel Gothia Towers, Room H1, Mässans gata 24, Gothenburg, Sweden.
