Stock options program for executive management of Nobel Biocare In conjunction with the public announcement on June 29, 1998 of Nobel Biocare's acquisition of the American dental implant company, Steri-Oss Inc., Nobel Biocare's largest shareholder (Investment AB Bure) and Steri-Oss largest shareholder (Brown Brothers Harriman & Co.) presented a stock options program comprising 380,000 options for more than thirty top executives at Nobel Biocare AB. The first phase of this program was announced in July 1998. The second options allotment was issued by Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. in January 1999 with a total of 138,000 options to some 20 top executives. The transactions have taken place according to generally accepted market principles and an options assessment made by Enskilda Securities. Each option costs SEK 19.00. The terms were based on the market conditions of January 21- 27, 1999 during which the average price paid for a Nobel Biocare share was SEK 116. The date of maturity for the options is May 1, 2003 and the redemption price is SEK 140.
