Two new product launches by Procera Procera will introduce two new products this week at the world's largest dental show IDS in Cologne, Germany. One is a line extension of the successful Procera® AllCeram and is a thinner coping that will solve the most challenging esthetic situations in the front teeth. The second launch is a single coping made of zirconium called Procera® AllZirkon. This is in response to the increasing demand for stronger all- ceramic restorations. Zirconia is the strongest ceramic material and offers a very durable restoration for the back teeth where the chewing forces are high. Apart from strength, Procera®AllZirkon has the same clinical advantages that is creating the success of Procera®AllCeram. -With the introduction of these products, we will enter into two new market segments and further strengthen our offer to the existing customer base of approximately 1,100 dental laboratories that have invested in a Procera Scanner. Thereby, the value of the scanner increases as the laboratories will get access to new products without further investment, says Lars Henrikson, Head of business area Procera. Initially the products will be launched in Europe. A launch in North America is planned for the second half of 2001. IDS (Internationale Dental-Schau) in Cologne, Germany, is the worlds largest dental exhibition with some 45,000 visitors from all over the world.
