Nick Friend will assume the role of business unit manager for Gower Furniture Ltd starting on 1 March 2007. Gower is a wholly owned subsidiary of Nobia AB in Sweden. Nick has most recently been working for the Baxi Group, where he was managing director for Baxi Fires Division, a manufacturer of fireplace heating systems.

Gower's present business unit manager, Martin Elgood, will be leaving Nobia on 31 March for a position in another company.
