Nobina has appointed Henrik Dagnäs as COO and Deputy CEO of Nobina AB with operational responsibility for the Group’s Bus and Care business areas. Concurrently, Martin Pagrotsky has been appointed new Managing Director of Nobina Sverige AB. Petra Axelsson, Director Sustainability, Strategy and New businesses, will assume operational responsibility for the third business area, Nobina Mobility. This includes the MaaS platform Travis.

Nobina currently operates in a market that is driven by some of the largest challenges facing society. Climate change that is increasing the need for sustainable transport solutions, demographic trends that place higher demands on healthcare and flexible solutions, and urbanisation that requires new forms of mobility. In line with the new business areas and as a means of becoming even better at addressing these challenges, a number of changes to Group management are being made.

Henrik Dagnäs, with 15 years at Nobina and most recently in a role as Managing Director of Nobina Sweden, will utilise his key strategic and operational expertise in the new position as COO and Deputy CEO of Nobina.

Petra Axelsson will be given extended responsibility for Nobina’s sustainability agenda, strategic development and the new Mobility business area.

Martin Pagrotsky has worked at the Nobina Group since 2005 and has extensive experience of the public transport market. Martin’s most recent position was as senior executive responsible for Group-wide functions such as legal, purchasing, fleet and HR.

“I am delighted to welcome Henrik Dagnäs, Petra Axelsson and Martin Pagrotsky to their new roles and the next stage of our journey. This enables us to continue to build on Nobina’s strong foundation, but also to develop with new strategic and operational expertise and new roles in order to address important changes in society and create sustainable value,” says Magnus Rosén, CEO and President of Nobina.

The Nobina Bus business area comprises the four operating companies – Nobina Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland. Along with the wholly owned subsidiaries KE’s Bussar and DBO.

The Nobina Care business area comprises Samtrans Omsorgsresor, Telepass, Göteborgs Buss and Ørslev.

The Nobina Mobility business area comprises the Res i STHLM and Travis apps.

All of the above changes will come into effect on 1 January 2022.
