Nobina awarded expanded trust in Greater Copenhagen
Movia has awarded Nobina an expanded contract to operate both city and regional bus services in Greater Copenhagen. The new contract is set to commence in December 2026 and marks another important step toward Movia’s goal of fossil-free public transport, as all the 125 buses included in the contract will be electric.
The A24 contract runs for six years, with the possibility of two additional four-year extensions. Nobina already operates parts of the current traffic in the area, and the new contract represents both a continuation and an expansion of that responsibility. In addition to ambitious sustainability goals focused on electrification, the procurement placed strong emphasis on a range of quality and service-related criteria.

The award decision can be appealed until July 11, 2025.
