Nobina strengthens its position in Finland with new contract in the Helsinki region
Through a new city transport contract, HSL has further extended its trust in Nobina. The new contract will commence in August 2027 and run for seven years, with an additional three option years.
In total, the contract includes 37 buses, the majority of which are electric, and will lead to an expansion of Nobina’s operations in the Helsinki Capital Region.
“We are pleased with the continued and expanded trust from HSL. Being able to further drive the transition and electrification of bus services, and to develop public transport with more sustainable, safe and comfortable journeys for residents in the Helsinki region,” says Topi Simola, Managing Director, Nobina Finland.
The award decision can be appealed until December 24, 2025.
