Nobina has been awarded a new contract by Föli to operate and develop city transport services in Turku. All services will be operated by electric buses from the start of the contract in July 2024. This represents a clear commitment to sustainability.

The contract is for a total of 17 scheduled electric buses and runs for eight years, with an option for two additional years. By offering sustainable travel as a solution for people’s daily lives, Nobina and Föli are working together to help the city of Turku reach its ambitious goal to become carbon neutral and offer expanded public transport.

“It is gratifying to begin a new contract with Föli, where we can make a difference every day in people’s lives by offering safe and sustainable travel,” says Petri Auno, Managing Director Nobina Finland.

The award decision can be appealed until 30 June 2023.
