Nobina wins in Helsinki, contract worth more than EUR 80 million

Nobina Finland has won a tender comprising 94 buses for HSL (Helsinki Region Transport). The service contracts run for periods of two and seven years, respectively, with the option of an extension of up to three years. The estimated total value is in excess of EUR 80 million over the initial contract period (before optional years). The new service will commence on August 10, 2015.The decision by HSL means that Nobina will operate routes in the Vantaa region of Helsinki, with an increase of 61 buses, compared with existing contracts. The tender outcome may be appealed until December 9. “
