Inside information: NoHo Partners’ CEO Aku Vikström leaves the company to join Orkla Foods Europe

NoHo Partners Plc’s CEO Aku Vikström has informed the company’s Board of Directors that he will step down from the role of CEO. Vikström will join Orkla Foods Europe Oy as their new CEO, starting at the latest on 1 September 2024. Until then, he continues in his role as the CEO of NoHo Partners. The Board of Directors has initiated a search for his successor.

“Aku Vikström, together with our Executive Team, has done an excellent job and played a key role in creating the story of NoHo Partners, first in the merger of two companies, Restamax and Royal Ravintolat, and then by leading the company through corona pandemic in difficult circumstances. At the same time, we have become the most profitable company and the most desirable workplace in our industry. I want to thank Aku for his people-oriented leadership during the difficult years and wish him all the best for the future”, says Timo Laine, Chairman of the Board of NoHo Partners.

“Nordic Hospitality Partners is a unique company with extraordinary people. It has been the greatest honor of my professional life to lead these people through turbulent times. The journey has taught me a lot, and has been at times tough, but at the end very rewarding especially because of the people. I leave the company and my colleagues with a heavy heart, but at the same time I am delighted about the future prospects of NoHo Partners. The company is in excellent financial shape and its most important assets, people and iconic restaurant brands, are not going anywhere. The company has committed and stable anchor owners who support the company even through the unstable times. During my remaining time in the company, I am committed to ensure that my successor has the best possible starting point to continue this story”, says Aku Vikström, CEO.
