Inside Information: Nokian Tyres is included in European Commission’s unannounced inspection

Nokian Tyres plc Inside Information January 30, 2024 at 4.45 p.m. EET

The European Commission has today initiated an unannounced inspection at Nokian Tyres plc’s (“Nokian Tyres”) headquarters in Nokia, Finland. The European Commission has expressed its concerns that the inspected tyre manufacturing companies may have violated EU antitrust rules that prohibit cartels and restrictive business practices. Nokian Tyres does not have information on the outcome of the inspection, and it cannot comment on the ongoing investigation. Nokian Tyres is fully co-operating with the authorities.
