Nokian Heavy Tyres Ltd. completes change negotiations in Nokia factory, Finland

Nokian Heavy Tyres Ltd. has completed the change negotiations which commenced on May 8, 2023, and concerned the Nokia factory employees of Nokian Heavy Tyres Ltd. As a result of the negotiations all Nokia factory employees of Nokian Heavy Tyres Ltd., altogether some 160 people can be temporary laid off for a maximum period of 90 days per person. The layoffs will be implemented during 2023.

The target of the negotiations, which were initiated due to productional and financial reasons, was to adapt production to the change in the market and demand situation.
