Paolo Pompei to start as the President and CEO of Nokian Tyres plc on January 1, 2025

Nokian Tyres announced on July 20, 2024, that the company’s Board of Directors has appointed Paolo Pompei as the President and CEO of Nokian Tyres plc. It has now been agreed that Paolo Pompei will assume the role of President and CEO of Nokian Tyres plc on January 1, 2025. He succeeds Jukka Moisio, who will retire from the company in the end of 2024.

He has delivered continuous growth and strong financial performance in his earlier positions. He also has a very strong international experience from the tire industry and a deep understanding of the markets in Central Europe and North America, which are the key growth markets for Nokian Tyres,” says Jukka Hienonen, Chair of Nokian Tyres’ Board of Directors.
