Hans Porat named Nolato's new President and CEO

Nolato’s Board of Directors has named Hans Porat, who has been the President of Gadelius, Japan, since 2002, to be the company’s new President and CEO.

Hans Porat is 52 and has an MS in engineering. Prior to his position as CEO of Gadelius, Hans Porat was Deputy CEO and Executive Vice President of the Trelleborg Group, with overall responsibility for operations in three of the Group’s four business areas. Before this, he held management positions at ABB and Fläkt, both in Sweden and internationally.

“In hiring Hans Porat, Nolato is getting a CEO with extensive experience in international business management, global business projects and acquisitions, as well as considerable experience in the industry,” noted CG Sondén, who is chairman of Nolato’s Board of Directors. “With his background, Hans Porat is highly qualified to continue developing the Nolato Group.”

Hans Porat will assume his position by February 1, 2008, at the latest.
