The new dress watch from NOMOS Glashütte, Minimatik 39 date, invites you to make the most of your day. The new gold-framed date window is a subtle detail that celebrates the day and draws the eye to the innovative movement inside.

Always up to date, always in style: Minimatik 39 date indicates the current day in a sophisticated way. The classic date window, positioned at 3 o’clock, lies on the outer edge of the dial. Framed in gold, it is a subtle reference to the NOMOS caliber DUW 4601 beneath, which was introduced in fall 2024.

Every day in gold

Minimatik 39 date reminds its wearer that life is about embracing each moment with purpose and grace. A contemporary dress watch with a hand-wound mechanical movement from Glashütte, Germany, its finely crafted stainless steel case has an elegantly slim profile and sits comfortably on the wrist. Combining minimalist dot indexes and Arabic hour numerals gives Minimatik 39 date its unique charm, while the wide dial creates a distinctive and elegant look.

The NOMOS signature sub-seconds dial is now complemented for the first time by a date window with gold-plated chamfering, which is a subtle nod to the innovative hand-wound movement inside. In this in-house built caliber with a power reserve of 52 hours, the date ring surrounding the movement is finished in the same shade as the dial. The strikingly thin design also allows for a large date display at the edge of the dial, which serves as a strong reminder that every day should be celebrated for the golden opportunities it brings.

Three iterations, each with their own character

Minimatik 39 date is available in three versions, each with their own unique charm and appeal. Minimatik 39 date and Minimatik 39 date gold share a silver-plated dial. While the first is fitted with rhodium-plated hands, the latter has golden hands. As indicated in the name, Minimatik 39 date blue features a deep blue dial. Here, the hands are also rhodium-plated, with gold detailing reserved for the edges of the date window. All three stand out with their clear style and harmonious details.

Made in Glashütte

The same applies to the DUW 4601 caliber, which comes to life through the extra-large sapphire glass case back. The movement’s fine sunbeam ribbing radiates from the NOMOS swing system, the manufacturer’s proprietary escapement. The decoration reaches to the edge of the date ring plate—a wonderful example of seizing opportunities and enjoying beauty in every detail.
