The limited anniversary editions that NOMOS Glashütte produces in honor of Glashütte's watchmaking tradition are legendary—and usually sell out quickly. This fall, the watchmaking company is continuing the series with the timepiece that has been considered an icon for decades: 175 Tangente are now available in 18 kt rose gold.

GLASHÜTTE, NOVEMBER 2, 2023. How best to describe Tangente rose gold neomatik - 175 Years Watchmaking Glashütte? The words dapper and sophisticated immediately come to mind—as well as chic, elegant, and stylish. With this new limited edition in rose gold, NOMOS Glashütte is celebrating the rich heritage of watchmaking that can be found in this famous German town.

Tangente, the most famous mechanical wristwatch made in Glashütte, is available for the first time in a rose gold case, with a dial that is inspired by the original Tangente design. Back then, the steel-gray watch had a white dial with gray detailing; the new version likewise comes with a dial that is galvanically white silver-plated, but with a sub-seconds dial and minute markers in rose gold.

Like Tangente always has been, this new dress watch is angular and straightforward. Unlike the original Tangente, however, the new one is powered by an automatic caliber: the extremely thin, in-house built neomatik movement DUW 3001. This caliber can be described as sophisticated too; it is slim, precise, and elegant. The watch case in a very classic diameter of 35 millimeters is tailor-made for it. Limited to only 175 pieces worldwide, this new version of Tangente is sure to have a high collector's value. It is available with selected retailers and at nomos-glashuette.com.
