A subsidiary of Norconsult is announced winner of Geneva Airport expansion project

Sandvika, 23 November 2023 (OSE: NORCO): A subsidiary of Norconsult ASA is part of a team that has been announced winner of the design-built competition at Geneva Airport in Switzerland. 

“The Geneva Airport expansion project showcases our architects´ expertise as an internationally recognised airport designer. We are very proud to be awarded this project and look forward to collaborating with both Geneva Airport and to be part of a very competent team carrying out this work,” says Bård Hernes, EVP Norway Head Office at Norconsult. 

Norconsult`s revenue from the design contract of the project is estimated to NOK 120-150 million. The first phase of the construction should be completed by 2032. 

The construction budget for the terminal expansion at Geneva airport is estimated to approximately CHF 600 million. 

The award of the contract may be appealed by the parties whose project was not selected.
