Norconsult awarded hospital contract in Nykøbing Falster

Sandvika, 22 February 2024 (OSE: NORCO): The Danish Region of Sealand has selected the team that will design and build the refurbishment and addition to the existing hospital in Nykøbing Falster in Denmark. The contract is a turnkey contract with GVL Entreprise A/S as contract holder, and Norconsult Danmark and Nordic Office of Architecture, two subsidiaries of Norconsult ASA, as engineer and architect throughout the process. 

“We are incredibly happy that we, in collaboration with GVL Entreprise, are once again highlighting Norconsult and Nordic Office of Architecture's strong competences within healthcare buildings,” says Thomas Bolding Rasmussen, EVP Denmark at Norconsult. 

The project comprises of approximately 14.000 m² and should be ready for operations in the beginning of 2028. The additions will ensure the facilities are better equipped to meet the demands of a modern hospital.  

Norconsult`s revenue from the contract is estimated to be approximately NOK 60 million.
