Norconsult is part of the winning team for the new airport terminal in Bodø

Sandvika, 25 April (OSE: NORCO) Norconsult Norge, together with the contractor Hent, has secured a contract with Avinor to design and build the buildings at the new airport in Bodø, Norway. Norconsult will act as a subcontractor to Hent, in collaboration with Archus and LPO architects.

The Integrated Project Delivery contract includes the construction of the buildings at the new airport: The terminal building, including office spaces, and operational buildings with a total of 25,000 m2.

“Norconsult will contribute to the construction of a new and contemporary airport dimensioned and adapted to the air traffic of the future. We look forward to collaborating with Avinor, and to be part of a very competent team carrying out this work," says Bård Hernes, EVP Norway Head Office at Norconsult.

The new airport is tentatively scheduled for completion in 2029/2030. Norconsult`s revenue from the contract is estimated to be approximately NOK 100 million.

The nomination of the contract to Norconsult is subject to a standstill period which expires on May 06.
