Merita Plc's share capital converted into euros as of January 1, 1999 The share capital of Merita Plc was converted into euros on January 1, 1999 and is now EUR 1,399,358,437.06. At the same time the shares ceased to have any nominal value. The Articles of Association were amended accordingly. There was no change in the number of shares in issue. The share capital is currently divided into 832,020,744 shares, and the book value per share is thus EUR 1.68.
