CLARIFICATION; Court found for Nordea in tax case in Norway The English, Finnish and Norwegian version of the press release from Nordea plc states that the future tax savings of up to approximately NOK 750 million "...will be reported as income in the financial statement for the second quarter 2001.". This is correct with respect to the financial statement for Christiania Bank. In the Nordea Group consolidated accounts the court ruling will be accounted for by adjusting the Group's goodwill related to Christiania Bank.
