Nordea's corporate customers gain access to 20,000 branches through international agreements

Nordea's corporate customers gain access to 20,000 branches through international agreements Nordea's corporate customers are to gain access to 20,000 branches worldwide now that Nordea has signed an agreement with IBOS Association Ltd (IBOS), the leading international banking alliance. Furthermore, Nordea serves corporate clients doing business in Asia under an arrangement with Standard Chartered Bank (SCB). "Through the agreement with IBOS, Nordea can now offer corporate clients doing business cross borders a local bank contact with seamless cross- border services and a common charter, " says Henrik Mogensen, Head of Corporate Division of Nordea and Chairman of the Board of IBOS. The cooperation arrangement with Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) enables Nordea to offer corporate customers a full range of cash management services in the following Asian countries; Hong Kong, Indonesia, India, China, Malaysia, the Philippines, Taiwan and Thailand. In Singapore Nordea's customers already have access to the full range of banking services of Nordea Singapore. "There is a need for local banking services in many other Asian countries," says Petri Sandell, Branch Manager of Nordea Singapore. "A broad network, versatile local banking services, new accounts and local support are now available to Nordea's corporate clients," Sandell continues.
