Purchase of treasury shares                                                     

As can be read in today's announcement from A/S Dampskibsselskabet TORM (TORM), 
TORM has sold its shareholding in Dampskibsselskabet "NORDEN" A/S (NORDEN
through a book building. 

NORDEN highly appreciates the sale as the shareholding now is spread amongst    
several investors and thereby the liquidity of the share will be increased in
future. 

In this connection, NORDEN has purchased 72,897 treasury shares and now holds   
209,117 treasury shares, corresponding to 9.1% of the Company's nominal share
capital.
