Angel House opens its doors –Sweden’s first private members’ club for angel investors
Stockholm, 27 November 2025 – At the end of November, Angel House, Sweden’s first private members’ club for angel investors, will officially open its doors. The initiative is led by investors and entrepreneurs Lisa Grape, Ash Pournouri and Andreas Grape. The latter two are also the founders of the angel investor network Nordic Angels, and together the trio is now launching Angel House – a physical meeting place designed to strengthen and complement Nordic Angels’ digital platform.
Located at Jakobsbergsgatan 27, in the heart of central Stockholm, Angel House becomes a natural part of the ecosystem. The club aims to foster a community where angel investors can connect, exchange ideas and build long-term relationships.
“From our experience with Nordic Angels, we know that collaboration is essential – it’s how we create real momentum for growth. When ideas, capital and competence come together, things move faster and with more impact. That is exactly what Angel House is about,” says Lisa Grape, CEO and co-founder of Angel House.
In a short time, Nordic Angels has established itself as one of the leading networks for investors and growth companies in the Nordics. Angel House marks the next step – creating a community that connects people not only digitally, but also physically.
“We want to build something greater than just a meeting place. Capital alone doesn’t build anything – but people with drive, ideas and energy do. Angel House is designed to be the space where this community gathers and grows. It’s where collaborations turn into opportunities, and opportunities become growth,” says Ash Pournouri, co-founder of Angel House and Nordic Angels.
Beyond its business-focused purpose, Angel House will also be a curated venue for food, music, art and unique event experiences.
The interior concept for Angel House is created by designer Nina Kullberg together with her colleague Jonatan Söderblom, whose portfolio includes well-known Stockholm destinations such as Bank Hotel, Spesso and Chez Jolie. Together with Angel House CEO Lisa Grape, Kullberg has crafted a vision where the new members’ club feels like a second home – warm, inviting and personal.
The ambition has been to combine a premium international standard with a strong local identity. The result is an environment that feels both homely and relaxed, yet flexible enough to host everything from intimate business meetings to larger events.
Drawing inspiration from the vibrancy of hotel lobbies and the comfort of home, the design blends natural materials with soft textiles and warm lighting. Custom-built sofas, French fabrics and bespoke furniture manufactured in Småland add a sense of craftsmanship and authenticity.
With influences from iconic spaces such as Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles and Chiltern Firehouse in London, the aesthetic is global, sophisticated and culturally rich. Materials like marble, textured wood panels and ceramic details tie the space together, giving Angel House a contemporary, cosmopolitan character.
Angel House opens in the heart of the Mood District – an area developed by AMF Fastigheter, now considered one of Stockholm’s most sought-after office and retail locations.
“We’re very pleased to welcome Angel House here. Angel House will be a catalyst for new collaborations and will strengthen our ambition to make the Mood District a vibrant hub for entrepreneurship and creativity in the center of Stockholm. The establishment contributes to shaping the district into a powerful meeting place for the business landscape of the future,” says Anna Gissler, Head of External Relations and Partnerships at AMF Fastigheter.
