Further appointments in the merger between Meritanordbanken and Unidanmark On the 12 of April the MeritaNordbankens offer of share exchange to Unidanmarks shareholders had received 97.1 per cent of acceptances. All other necessary conditions for the share exchange offer has been met. The building of the new organisation continues with new appointments and co- ordination of potentials in the merger between MeritaNordbanken and Unidanmark. In continuation of the announcement of the overall organisation the following persons has been appointed; Asset Management Asset Management offers advisory and management services across all asset classes. The business aims at high-net-worth individuals, corporate clients, pension funds, insurance companies and public institutions. Institutional clients in Sweden and Finland Pontus Bergekrans will be overall responsible for the activities towards existing clients and for the development of relationships with new clients in Sweden and Finland. Under an interimistic period Pontus Bergekrans and Lars Källholm will serve Trevise Investment Management regarding their existing clients. Timo Ronkainen will be responsible for institutional clients in Finland. Timo Ronkainen will also be managing director of Merita Asset Management. Institutional clients in Denmark and Norway Lars Mathiesen will be overall responsible for the activities regarding existing clients and development of new relationships in Denmark and Norway. Tore Borthen in Oslo will be responsible for the local activities and will become managing director of the coming investment management company in Norway. Institutional clients Europe With base in Frankfurt Lars Källholm will be overall responsible for the activities regarding existing and new clients in Europe (excluding the Nordic countries). Institutional clients North America Henrik Bak will have responsibility towards new and existing clients and will also be president of the Groups securities company in New York. Equities Equities will in Stockholm and Helsinki be managed by Inga-Lill Carlberg and in Copenhagen and Bergen by Bo Knudsen. Inga-Lill Carlberg will also be managing director of the Investment Management Company in Stockholm. Fixed income Kim Pilgaard will be overall responsible for the investment management within fixed income. Asset Allocation Pontus Bergekrans will be overall responsible for the allocation activities with Torbjörn Söderberg as deputy head. Corporate and Institutional Banking Corporate and Institutional Banking provides services to Nordic and Baltic corporate and institutional customers. It offers commercial banking products and services, including international cash management, as well as FX, fixed income and derivate sales and trading, research and advisory services, including debt capital markets business.
