Progress in merger between MeritaNordbanken and Unidanmark Owners of 30 per cent of Unidanmark accept the merger. Important terms and conditions are met by decisions of the Danish tax authorities and the Copenhagen Stock Exchange. The Copenhagen Stock Exchange has approved the prospectus with respect to listing of the new shares in Nordic Baltic Holding (NBH) AB (publ) on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange. The prospectus will be made public on Monday 27 March, 2000. At the Annual General Meeting of Unidanmark on 21 March, 2000, shareholders resolved to unite the different share classes. On 20 March, 2000, the Danish tax authorities approved the Share Exchange Offer as a tax exempt exchange of shares in Unidanmark for shares in NBH, in accordance with Section 13 of the Danish Act on Capital Gains on Shares. The Board of Representatives of Tryg-Baltica smba, which owns approximately 19 per cent of the shares in Unidanmark, accepted the Share Exchange Offer on 21 March, 2000. The Unidanmark Trust, which owns approximately 11 per cent of the shares in Unidanmark, accepted the Share Offer on 6 March, 2000. At that point the acceptance was subject to regulatory approval. The Unidanmark Trust's acceptance has now become unconditional as such regulatory approval has been granted.
