Nordic Flanges AB invests in two new OKUMA machines

Okuma Multus U3000 2SW 1500 is a multifunction lathe. This machine allows us to produce flanges and forged blanks with significantly higher tolerance requirements where both turning and milling operations are included. The advantages are a significantly shorter lead time and that the products are completed without time-consuming intermediate operations.

In addition to that machine, we are expanding and strengthening our production with another Okuma LU 3000 EX M C1000.

With these two new machines, we will be able to process and manufacture flanges and forged blanks with significantly higher and more complex requirements that our customers set and which means that we, among other things, can strengthen our position towards our OEM customers in the Nordic region and globally.

The investment value is over SEK 8 million.
