NIB finances wastewater infrastructure in Malmö
- NIB has signed a SEK 1 billion 15-year credit facility with the City of Malmö
- The financing supports investments in wastewater infrastructure.
- The project contributes to improved water management and environmental protection.
The financing will support investments in wastewater and stormwater infrastructure in Malmö during 2025–2029. The investments will be carried out by VA Syd, a municipal federation providing water and wastewater services, as well as waste management solutions to Malmö, Burlöv, Eslöv, Lomma, and Lund.
