NIB lends to Tallinn wastewater infrastructure developments

In 2021, the disbursement of Nordic Investment Bank’s (NIB’s) long-term lending returned to a more normal level of EUR 2,440 million compared to EUR 4,853 million in 2020, when the Bank paid out a historically high amount in response to the COVID-19 crisis. NIB lends to new wind farms in Estonia and Lithuania

The Nordic Investment Bank (NIB) and Estonian renewable energy producer Enefit Green AS have agreed on a EUR 80 million loan for a period of 12 years to co-finance wind power projects in Lithuania and Estonia.Enefit Green is currently constructing the two wind farms Šilale II and Akmene in Lithuania.
