NIB funds renovation of Söderhallarna in Stockholm

NIB has signed a 10-year loan agreement with Atrium Ljungberg AB to support its refurbishment and redevelopment of the Söderhallarna property in Stockholm, Sweden.   The SEK 860 million (approximately EUR 79.5 million) loan will finance Atrium Ljungberg’s project, which started in spring 2024 and is expected to be completed by early 2027. Once completed, the building will use 50% less energy.   Söderhallarna opened in 1992, and the building is recognised for its cultural and architectural value.
